Our Approach
Giant Steps Nursery adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our nursery, they're fully prepared for the next stages of their young lives.

Our Little Bunnies room has a variety of sensory resources. The physiologist Jean Piaget, known for his work on child development, termed the ages 0-24 months as the sensorimotor period, discovering that babies and toddlers learn through sensory input and physical movement. Thus, we aim to influence our education style using this approach, along with others.

Young children who attend Giant Steps Nursery are offered the tools and the support they need for their healthy development.
All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our children.
This is achieved through simulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, where children are encouraged to freely develop into bright young minds.

Getting our preschoolers ready for school is an exciting time, but also a scary time for parents, carers and children. Our qualified and caring staff will support your child's every need.
Our planned activities are designed to meet the needs of both children and families through specific goals and objectives.
We focus on building off of the strengths of each child, taking advantage of every teachable moment.
